ABOUT ME:Christopher Quiseng is a Hawaiʻi-based guide, educator, and ecopsychologist with a deep professional background that includes work as a National Park archaeologist and ranger. His work brings together ecological understanding, cultural respect, and nature-based practice to help people feel more at home within themselves and the Earth.

TESTIMONIALS"Chris is an amalgamation of an ecological textbook, trail runner, leader, and singer-storyteller. He is astounding as a guide and a human. He took us on a near half-marathon adventure through the little-known trails of the park, and as a cherry on top, across the volcano crater floor itself. He wowed us with ancient knowledge and oral histories (Pele’s tears being my favorite! Ask him about them.), traditions and songs, and animal and plant knowledge that I’ll remember until the day I die (the Kamehameha butterfly and its symbiotic relationship with a species of plant)." (Past client, February 2025)"(Referencing the Reconnection Mentorship) The most significant benefit has been a sense of returning to myself. The mentorship created space for me to slow down, listen, and allow deeper truths to surface without trying to force them. That kind of space is rare and incredibly valuable. I came away with more clarity, a deeper sense of reciprocity in how I move through the world, and a renewed connection to the land and to my own inner compass." -Licensed Professional Counselor, 2025"Chris showed me that ecopsychology is not only the way to rebuild the link humans have with nature but it is also how we rebuild the connection with ourselves and our community." -Adventure Guide & Student, 2025"An old friend has worked with Chris for several years and gifted me with a session. I knew little about what to expect but went in with curiosity and an open mind/heart. Chris created ritual with song/chant, a circle and a prompt to ponder when I went for my solo walk. The time alone and the time with Chris was rich, full, gentle and meaningful. I always felt respected, safe, seen and heard. Connecting with self, earth, ocean, jungle as well as with Chris' learning, wisdom and sweet heart was a joy." (Past client, March 2024)"Chris is an amazing educator and facilitator. I was lucky enough to work with him twice with two separate groups of students over this past summer. He has an incredible awareness and attentiveness towards people that I'm sure are just the surface level of why my students walked away with a deeper connection to nature. While these workshops were meant for my students, I walked away inspired and revitalized to continue on my path as an educator."
